Social Dance Evening (SDE)

✓ 48 seats at tables for 6 and around 200 square metres of space for dancing!

✓ One Saturday evening in January, May and October from 7.30 pm to 11 pm—dance evenings in the other months (except August)

✓ Small bar from 7.30 pm to 11 pm

✓ Partly with special programme according to separate announcement

✓ Usually with workshop/crash course from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm

We kindly ask for a well-groomed appearance and elegant clothing; dress code ‘dark suit’ encouraged.
In consideration of the floor, wearers of heeled shoes are requested to use heel protectors.

Our SDEs are run on a voluntary basis by volunteers.
We would be delighted to welcome additional volunteers to help us realise the event, for example at the bar, during set-up and dismantling or as DJs.

How To Find Us

Our SDEs take place in the hall of Kirchgemeindehaus Zurich-Höngg, Acker­stein­strasse 190 in 8049 Zurich (↗ Google Maps).
There are few parking spaces available (Blaue Zone); we recommend travelling by public transport to Meierhofplatz (T13, B46, B80).

The hall is accessible via a wide staircase from Ackersteinstrasse; coming from Meierhofplatz, the staircase is located behind the building.

Admission per Person, incl. one Softdrink:

• without Workshop/Crashkurs: CHF 20 (Students up to 29 y.o.: CHF 15)
• with Workshop/Crashkurs: CHF 30 (Students up to 29 y.o.: CHF 20)
• Active Members: CHF 16 (Students up to 29 y.o.: CHF 12)
